The problem
A growing nonprofit was running on spreadsheets, inboxes and memory: programme tracking, school planning, field monitoring and monthly finance all lived in different places.
What I built
- masinyusane.org and zazi-izandi.co.za: public sites with signed-in staff areas.
- Operations tools: goal dashboards, a school-programme grid, budget calculators, mentor visit forms, a closures calendar and field-app monitoring.
- A finance workspace: bank statements are classified by written rules, reconciled against the management accounts, and published as budgets, bank reconciliation and funder views, with every figure traceable to its source.
The AI inside
- Built AI-natively: designed, reviewed and tested with Claude Code and Codex agents under strict release gates.
- Connected to the AI systems elsewhere in this portfolio: the coaching dashboards, the data portals and the fundraising pilot.
Where it stands
Both platforms are live and used by staff. The finance workspace was released in September 2026.
